Another Indian designated for assignment

The Indians continued their August housecleaning Monday.

Utility infielder Mike Rouse became the third player in a week to be shown the door when he was designated for assignment following a 1-0 victory over Minnesota at the Metrodome. Rouse hugged and shook hands with teammates after the game, but politely declined to discuss his situation with reporters.
