Zella Mae Jordan

Zella Mae Jordan, 94, resident of Harrisburg passed away Thursday, July 28, 2016 at the Shawnee Rose Care Center in Harrisburg. Zella was born August 27, 1921 in Harrisburg to the late Clarence and Ada (Parker) Ewell. She was Baptist by faith. Early in Life Zella Worked at Harts Department Store in Harrisburg and later she worked in the bakery of the IGA grocery store in Harrisburg. She is survived by two daughters; Jeanetta Mattingly (Fred Shaw) of Harrisburg and Julia Ann Jones of Bartlett, Tennessee, a brother; Harrell G. Ewell of Harrisburg, 12 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 13 great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husbands; Elmer J. Tellas and David Jordan and a brother Carl Ewell. Zella was cremated at her request and a private family service will be held at a later date. Colonial Terrace Funeral Home and Crematory in Eldorado is assisting the family with cremation arrangements.
