Prep Volleyball: Eagles send seniors out in style

The Eldorado volleyball team sent its seniors out in style with a straight set win over Sesser-Valier Tuesday night.

The Eagles won 25-16 and 25-19 as Mary Mitchell finished 7-for-7 on sets and 13-for-14 on spikes. Mitchell had three kills, to go along with a 7-for-7 serving performance with six points, two aces and seven digs.

Brooklynn Peavler was 3-for-3 on sets and 5-for-6 on spikes. Peavler finished 9-for-9 on serves with nine points, two aces and eight digs.

Abby Steed went 9-for-9 on sets and 23-for-26 on spikes with five kills. The senior finished 6-for-7 at the line with seven points, one block, one kill and nine digs.

Lexi Clore was 1-for-1 on sets and 4-for-4 on serves with five points and eight digs, while Jordan Bailey went 1-for-1 with three digs.

Whitney McGuire was 27-for-27 on sets and 14-for-17 on spikes with one kill. McGuire was 14-for-15 on serves with 16 points and seven digs.

Samantha Boulds was 5-for-6 on spikes and 7-for-7 on serves with seven points and six digs and Tia Briddick was 2-for-2 on sets and had eight digs in the win.
