Setting the bar high: Norwell man's Kilimanjaro climb will serve as fundraiser

Jim Ianiri has been mountain climbing for as long as he can remember, but he's never been on a climb as high, as far away or as challenging as the one he'll soon embark upon.

He's also never trained so hard in his life.

In less than a month, the Norwell attorney and former member of the planning board will leave for Tanzania, Africa, to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro to fulfill both a personal goal and to raise money for a local organization, the Friendship Home.
