OBITUARY: Jackie Lee Heath

Jackie Lee Heath, 83, resident of Harrisburg, passed away May 22, 2014, at his residence.

Jackie was born March 28, 1931, in Omaha, to the late Clarence "Jack" and Amanda (Lanier) Heath. He served in the US Air Force during the Korean War. He was a longtime farmer in Saline County. He married the former Louise White who survives. He was a member of the Raleigh Methodist Church.

In addition to his wife he is survived by a son, Philip and wife Tammy Heath of Harrisburg; a sister, Barbara Ann Bagwell of Georgia; and a grandson, Jonathan Heath of Evansville, Ind.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Fred Heath. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 28, 2014, at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado with the Rev. John Cross officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Lawn Cemetery in Harrisburg with military rites. Visitation will be 3:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday May 27, 2014, at the funeral home.
