Lucille Vickery Proctor

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Lucille Vickery Proctor, 92, of Equality, passed away at 7:35 p.m. Friday, Sept. 19, 2008, at Ketcham Memorial Nursing Home in Odon, Ind.

She was born in Equality to John and Augusta (Williams) Vickery on May 10, 1916. Lucille married Charles Proctor in August 1959 and he preceded her in death on Feb. 22, 2002.

She is survived by four nieces, Erma Mae and Bob Norris of Morganfield, Ky., Lorene and Glendel Lane of Harrisburg, June Williams of Shawneetown and Pam and Tom Uselton of Dahlgren; eight nephews, Kenny and Rosie Vickery of Junction, Ed Paul Vickery of Shawneetown, Jimmy Glen and Jerry Vickery of Eldorado, Dale and Cynthia Vickery of Equality, Donald and Faye Vickery of Belvedere, S.C., Eddie and Barbara Vickery of Junction, Bud and Phyllis South of Pensacola, Fla. and Billy John and Faith South of Niceville, Fla.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; her sister, Ruth South; and four brothers, Raymond, Hubert, Robert, Carl "Pete" Vickery.

Visitation for Lucille will be from 10 a.m. to service time at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2008, at Vickery Funeral Chapel in Shawneetown. The funeral service will be officiated by the Rev. Jim Howard with burial at Westwood Cemetery near Shawneetown.
