Louis A. Ande

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Louis A. Ande, 84, of 840 Grayson Road, Eldorado, died 10:12 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 13, 2008, at St. Mary's Hospital, Evansville, Ind.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2008, at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father Ignatius Okonkwo officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 15, 2008, at Watson Funeral Home, Eldorado, with a Rosary service at 7 p.m.

He was born Nov. 10, 1923, in North Fork Township in Gallatin County to John Louis and Elizabeth (Muensterman) Ande. In April 1952, he married Marguerite (Abell) Ande, who preceded him in death in April 1983.

He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and was a yard foreman at Wasson Lumber Yard. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and served as a Eucharistic minister for many years.

He is survived by two sons, Carl (Linda) Ande of Monmouth and Tony (Jan) Ande of Portland, Ore.; two grandchildren, Michelle Carver and Nicholas Ande; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Bill, Leo and Phillip Ande; and four sisters, Agnes Ande, Dorothy Collins, Pauline Ande and Helen Ande.
