</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Philip S. Aydt, 87, of Dahlgren, died 4:45 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 31, 2008, at Countryside Manor, Mount Vernon.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at noon Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2008, at St. John's Catholic Church in Dahlgren with Msgr. Joseph Lawler officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2008, at Gholson Funeral Home in Dahlgren with a Rosary at 7:30 p.m.

He is survived by two brothers, two sisters-in-law, two sisters, two brothers-in-law, four nephews, three nieces and several great-nieces and nephews.
