Elizabeth Chloetine Price

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Elizabeth Chloetine Price, 79, of Harrisburg, passed away at Harrisburg Medical Center on Monday, Aug. 25, 2008.

She was born in Granite City on Sept. 28, 1928, to the late Bishop and Edith (Cox) Fisher. On Dec. 6, 1944, she married Robert A. Price and he preceded her in death on Aug. 18, 1983.

Chloe was a retired dietary supervisor at the Illinois Youth Center and was a member of the Church of New Beginnings.

Surviving family members include a son, Robert (Scharley) Price of Harrisburg; two daughters, Donna Barnes (George) Hurley of Anna and Patricia (Donnie) Barnes of Cave-In-Rock; two sisters, Clara (Charlie) Morris of Harrisburg and Wanda (Bernie) Emery of Equality; 12 grandchildren; and several great- and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Danny Price; sister, Joann Belford; and a grandson, Tony Price.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 28, 2008, at Reed Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Kenny Mayhall will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Lawn Cemetery.
