Mandy Ruth Kingston

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Mandy Ruth Kingston, 84, of Shawneetown, passed away 1:17 a.m. Friday, Aug. 8, 2008 at Harrisburg Medical Center in Harrisburg.

She was born in Shawneetown on February 26, 1924 to John E. and Hattie May (Smith) Padgett. Ruth is survived by her sister, Ethel Gibbons of Harrisburg; niece, Neva and Wayne Rushing of Shawneetown; daughter, Grace McGuire; a great niece, Samantha and Brandon Gross of Shawneetown; two grandchildren, Cathy Barnes and Bobby Riley.

She was preceded in death by parents; two sisters, Bonnie L. Hardin and Maggie Hall; and a brother, Virgil Padgett.

Visitation for Ruth will be 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, August 10, 2008 at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Shawneetown. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 11 at the funeral home with the Rev. Robert E. Workman officiating. Burial will be at Callicott Cemetery near Ridgway.
