OBITUARY: Randy Pearce

Randy Pearce, 60 of Benton, passed away Sunday, May 11, 2014, at the VA Medical Center in Marion.

He was born on June 17, 1953, in McLeansboro, the son of Charles and Norma (Overton) Pearce.

Mr. Pearce served in the U.S. Navy from August 1972 to 1975.

He was a cook at several area restaurants, including the Gray Plaza in Benton and the Holiday Inn in Mount Vernon.

He is survived by his three children, Karie Lee Pearce, Jacob Allen Pearce and Koletta Rae Pearce; and several cousins.

Mr. Pearce was preceded in death by his parents.

Mr. Pearce was a member of Akin Masonic Lodge No. 749 in Thompsonville. He was also an Honorary member of several lodges in Franklin County.

Masonic Rites will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 15, 2004, at the Morton & Johnston Funeral Home in Benton. Burial will be in the Masonic & Oddfellows Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
