9 Harrisburg High speech team members named tops in region

HARRISBURG – Nine Harrisburg High School Speech Team members have been named Top 25 speakers by the Southern Illinois Speech and Acting League, head speech coach Tina Mondino announced.

According to Mondino, Harrisburg's nine Top 25 winners was the most of any other school with Top 25 honorees at SISAL's final tourney this season.

Those honored are juniors Kaylee Robinson, Maddi Kennedy, Franko Teston, Bradley Frailey and Kole Phelps and seniors Aruniti Manawa, Jasmine Teston, Chloe Thomas and Christian Murray.

Most of those students performed Thursday night at "Let's Talk," the speech team's annual public performance that showcases individual and duet talents.
