Frances Jane Ehler of Du Quoin
Frances Jane Ehler, 70, of Du Quoin passed away at 5:52 p.m. Sunday, June 11, 2017, at Marshall Browning Hospital in Du Quoin, surrounded by her family and close friends.
Frances had worked for Walmart for 31 years as a sales clerk, cashier and fitting room attendant. She had also been an EMT and helped with the Boy Scouts. She was a member of First Christian Church in Du Quoin. She was blessed with many true friends.
She was born Feb. 12, 1947, in Du Quoin, the daughter of Wesley Paul and Eva Elizabeth (Bunton) Kirkland.
She married Willard W. Ehler Feb. 19, 1965, at First Christian Church in Du Quoin, and he survives.
She is survived by her husband of Du Quoin; one son, Roger Ehler of Du Quoin; one daughter, Laura Morrow and husband Curt of Pinckneyville, grandchildren Alex Ehler of Sparta, Joshua Ehler of Johnston City, Brittny Nehrkorn of Du Quoin, Megan (Madison) Presswood of Du Quoin, Derrick (Laura) Threadgill of Du Quoin, Baleigh (Mandy) Morrow of Farmington, Mo., and Brooklyn Morrow of Pinckneyville; great-grandchildren Kierston Kelley Ridgeway, Alivia Nehrkorn, Landry Presswood and Tatum Presswood; one sister, Joanna Schue and husband Tom of Nicholasville, Ky.; niece Suzanna (Tim) Couch of Crab Orchard, Ky.; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one grandson, Jeremy Ray Nehrkorn.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 15, 2017, at Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin with the Rev. Terry Brace officiating.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.
Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park in Du Quoin.
