Letha Fern Hall, formerly of Galatia
HARRISBURG - Letha Fern Hall, 84, formerly of Galatia, passed away at 10:03 p.m. Saturday, June 3, 2017, in Saline Care Center in Harrisburg.
She was born Oct. 24, 1932, in Harrisburg, to the late James Albert and Vernella Belle (Swancey) Rose. She married Floyd H. Hall, and he preceded her in death Jan. 23, 1988.
Letha was a meat wrapper for Eldorado Locker.
Survivors include five children, Sandy Morris, Lamona Williams, Judy Baldwin, Lori Ann Smock and Scotty Hall; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Floyd; three sisters, Jeanette Alexander, Beatrice Stilley and Maxine Moore; and two brothers, Thurman Rose and James O. Rose.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 8, at Sloan Funeral Home in Galatia with the Rev. Jerry Wells officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Lawn Cemetery in Harrisburg. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
