Sara Anne Calvert of Carrier Mills

CARRIER MILLS – Sara Anne Calvert, 78, passed away at 3:47 a.m. Tuesday, June 6, 2017, at the home of her daughter and son-in-law.

Anne was born Dec. 29, 1938, in Eldorado, to Charles K. and D. Eloise Raley Chamberlain.

She was a lab technician and later became a nursing home activity director.

Anne was a member of Living Hope Church of God in Carrier Mills.

Survivors include her daughter, Juanita (Don) Brimberry of Carrier Mills; son, Brett Calvert and Elizabeth of Marion; sisters, Dorothea Jones of Harrrisburg and Rebecca (Art) Baise of Rolla, Missouri; grandchildren, Katie (Luke) Barnard of Carrier Mills, Megan (Ryan) Stricklin of Harrisburg and Natassia (Shawn) Beere of Harrisburg; and great-grandchildren, Rayleigh Grace Barnard and Cameron Beere.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 10, in Absher-Nicholson Funeral Home in Carrier Mills with the Rev. Jonathan Stevens officiating. Burial will be in Lindale Cemetery in Eldorado. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Satrurday at the funeral home.
