Seyler charged with residential burglary
<span>In a news release from the Chester Police Department, it was announced that 35-year-old Nathan Seyler, of Chester, was charged with residential burglary after a Tuesday morning incident.</span>
<span>At approximately 7:02 a.m, the Chester Police were called to the 800 block of West Holmes in reference to a report of an intoxicated male subject knocking on doors.</span>
<span>Police arrived on scene and spoke with a male resident - whose identity was not released - who indicated that the male subject had entered his home and also had entered his wife's car just prior to police arrival.</span>
<span>The alleged perpetrator, Seyler, was still on scene at the time police arrived. Seyler was arrested at that time and transported to the Randolph County Jail. </span>
<span>Police believe Seyler was planning to drive the vehicle away, due to the fact that the vehicle was idling at the time via remote start.</span>
<span>Seyler is believed to have put the car in gear, causing the engine to die. Seyler allegedly exited the vehicle after being confronted by the resident.</span>
