OBITUARY: Bonnie L. Butler

Bonnie L. Butler, 87 of Eldorado, died Monday, Dec. 15, 2014, at the Wabash Christian Retirement Center in Carmi.

Bonnie was born in Eldorado on Dec. 1, 1927, to the late William and Minnie McRoy. She was a member of the College Heights Baptist Church and worked at Ferrell Hospital in the housekeeping for 20 years. She married Charles F. Butler and he preceded her in death on Sept. 4, 1991.

She is survived by her son Charlie (Deb) Butler of Newburgh, Ind. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers: LeRoy and Thurmond McRoy and seven sisters: Nellie, Violet, Mary, Georgia, Wilma, Ruby and Beatrice.

Funeral services for Bonnie will be held 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 19, 2014, at the Watson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Lindale Cemetery. Visitation will be held 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 18, 2014, at the funeral home.
