Paul Robert Pyle of Harrisburg

Paul Robert Pyle of Harrisburg was called home at 7:37 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 26, 2021 at his residence.

Paul was born April 11, 1948 in Harrisburg to Pete and Marjorie (Walker) Pyle. He married the love of his life, Dee Ann Tillman, on Nov. 18, 1983.

He ran several businesses in the area over the years, but running his father's business, Pete's Furniture in Carrier Mills, was his favorite. Paul enjoyed playing cards and was an excellent pool player. He adored his family and was especially proud of his children and grandchildren.

Paul Robert never met a stranger and always loved spending time with his friends. Paul was a member of First Baptist Church and greatly enjoyed helping out with His Table.

Paul is survived by his wife, Dee Pyle of Harrisburg; two children: daughter, Nikki Williams and husband Doug; and son, Michael Pyle; grandchildren, Chris Williams, Chloe Williams and Emma Williams, all of Harrisburg; brother, Lee Pyle of Flint, Michigan; sister, Veta Dearing and husband, Harold of Carrier Mills; sister, Shelia Pyle of Lake City, Florida; and many loved nieces and nephews.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Nancy (Pyle) Young.

Funeral services for Paul Robert Pyle will be held at 3 p.m., Thursday, March 4, 2021 at Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg. The Rev. Chris Winkleman will officiate. Visitation will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. at Reed Funeral Chapel. Masks are required and social distancing is encouraged.

Memorials may be made to His Table Ministry at Harrisburg First Baptist Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
