OBITUARY: JoAnn Jones

JoAnn Jones, 71 of Conway, S.C., formerly of Harrisburg, passed away at 3:25 a.m. Friday, Nov. 28, 2014, at Conway Medical Center in Conway, S.C.

She was born March 24, 1943, in Earlington, Ky., to the late James Roland and Ruby Nell (Barton) Brasher. JoAnn was a member of the First Apostolic Church in Marion.

JoAnn is survived by a daughter, Tina Marie Weatherly-Campbell and husband Daniel of Conway, S.C.; daughter, Denise Ann Rann of Conway, S.C.; son, Larry Wayne Jones Jr. and fiancee Ramanda Lynn Stucker of Ozark; son, James Edward Jones of Conway, S.C.; son, Philip Joe Len Jones and fiancee Rikki Shea Lynch of Conway, S.C.; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Hilda Beal Yarber and husband Charles of New Burnside; brother, James Albert Brasher of Florida; and brother, Dannie Ray Brasher and wife Linda of Harrisburg.

She was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter; Heather Rae Womack; and a sister-in-law, Barbara Brasher.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2014, at Reed Funeral Chapel with the Rev. R.G. Walls officiating; burial will be in Ledford Cemetery in Harrisburg. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to service time Wednesday at Reed Funeral Chapel. Memorials may be made to the family to offset funeral expenses.
