OBITUARY: Steven Crider Daniel

Steven Crider Daniel, 71 of Rosiclare, died Tuesday at Hardin County General Hospital.

He was survived by his daughter, Reima (Buddy) Shetler of Rosiclare; granddaughters, Heather (Michael) Schuessler of Creal Springs and Erin Armstrong of Elizabethtown; great-grandchildren, Sophie Armstrong of Mt. Carmel and Ella Schuessler of Creal Springs. He also leaves behind a devoted, caring and loving companion, Barbara Smock of Rosiclare; Barbara's children, Kasondra Orona, Eric Smock and Brandon Smock; her grandchildren, Lauren, Brendan, Trinity and Gavin Smock and Max Joiner; and other friends and extended family.

Preceding him in death was his parents, J.D. and Geneva Daniel; brother, Brad Daniel; wife, Mary Sheila Daniel; and grandson, Jonathan Cody Armstrong.

Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday Nov. 8, 2014, at Cox Funeral Home in Rosiclare. The family will receive visitors from noon until service time Saturday at the funeral home. Private graveside services will be held at a later date.
