Almost Human ended its 13-episode freshman run on a low note with 5.6 million viewers and a 1.5 in the adults 18-to-49 demographic. The series seemed to have a slight chance of pickup since the demo matched Monday's Season 2 finale of The Following , but Deadline.com - which first reported the news of Almost Human's axing - reports that Fox's drama pilots Gotham, Red Band Society and Empire have all come in strong.
