Prep Volleyball: Hamilton County eases by Eldorado
Hamilton County defeated Eldorado in straight sets, winning 25-15 and 25-14 late last week in prep volleyball action.
Mary Mitchell went 28-for-33 on sets and 3-for-3 on spikes, with 10-for-11 on serves and 10 points and 13 digs.
Abby Steed went 20-for-22 on spikes with three kills, while finishing 2-for-2 on serves with two points, three blocks, one kill and 22 digs.
Dresdyn Bramlet was 5-for-5 on sets with nine spikes and went 8-for-8 on serves with eight points, four aces and 20 digs.
Brooklyn Peavler had 11 digs to go with two points on 2-for-2 serving, while Katrina Beaumont was 1-for-2 on serves with two points and 13 digs.
Lexi Clore was 2-for-2 on serves with two points and 16 digs, while Sydney Whitlock was 6-for-6 spikes with three digs. Lacy Jo Bradley was 4-for-4 on sets with five spikes and five digs.
A full slate of action awaits the Eagles this week as they will host Christopher tonight (Monday), starting at 6:15 p.m. at Duff-Kingston Gymnasium. Tuesday, Eldorado will travel to Zeigler-Royalton and will travel to Vienna Wednesday. The Eagles return home Thursday to take on Carmi-White County at 6:15 p.m.
