Prep Volleyball: Eagles fall in straight sets to Fairfield
Eldorado head coach Lisa Craig said her Eagles didn't play well Monday night and her volleyball team's serving was no good in a 25-17, 25-20 loss to Fairfield Monday night at Duff Kingston Gymnasium.
Abby Steed finished 4-for-4 in sets, finishing with 21 spikes and four kills, while going 8-for-8 from the line with eight points, two aces, three blocks and 31 digs.
Mary Mitchell went 30-for-33 on sets with four spikes, three kills and finished 5-for-8 on serves with eight points, two aces and 14 digs.
Sydney Whitlock had four spikes and three digs, while Dresdyn Bramlet went 5-for-5 on sets, with 10 spikes and three kills. Bramlet finished 4-for-5 on serves with five points, one ace and 21 digs.
Katrina Beaumont was 5-for-5 on sets with two spikes and finished 4-for-5 serving with five points and 17 digs.
Lexi Clore was 4-for-5 on sets with two serving points and five digs.
Lacy Jo Bradley had eight spikes, one kill and four digs, while Brooklyn Peavler went 5-for-6 on serves with six points and eight digs. Kaitlyn McGuire was 2-for-3 on serves with three points and five digs.
Eldorado is scheduled to play at Johnston City today (Tuesday).
