Sheriff warns of deer collisions

Saline County Sheriff Keith Brown is warning motorists about the danger of deer collisions during the harvest season.

"During harvest season the deer are on the move because part of their habitat is being removed," Brown said.

"Deer strikes by local motorists are a possibility."

People should be most cautious at dusk and at night when deer are most commonly on the move.
