Prep Girls Golf: EHS girls continue consistent play

The Eldorado High School girls golf team earned a 166-163 victory over Mt. Carmel Tuesday at Saline County Country Club.

Taylor Goodley had a great day with a 1-under 34, while twin sister Ashton fired a 38.

Taylor Aldridge carded a 46 for the Eagles, while Sydney Tate finished with a 48.

"Taylor (Goodley) has really played well and is showing a lot of confidence in her game," head coach Greg Goodley said. "The girls are working very hard and I like how consistent our team is. I think that it will play off at tournament time."

Girls golf edged by Marion

Alexa Burtis took medalist honors, shooting a 37 as Harrisburg fell to Marion 179-191 at Shawnee Hills Country Club.

Skylar Street finished with a 43 for Harrisburg, while Gabriella Tison added a 51 and Nicole Taylor carded a 60.

"Alexa continues her solid, consistent play," Tison said. "Three out of our four girls had their best round of the year. Gabriella did not play her best, but still shot close to her average."
