Du Quoin Police Seek Public Assistance in Youth Club Vandalism

Du Quoin Youth Club director Nicole Heape and the Du Quoin Police Department need your help in obtaining information and identifying the person or persons who vandalized the Du Quoin Youth Club flag football field Thursday night. Heape offers these comments: "I thought maybe the more attention we get, we might find out who did it. Friday morning I noticed that someone had drove though the field Thursday night. It is more than just driving; they tore it up. I have clumps of grass laying around. We start flag football on Thursday so it is super aggravating. It seems people don't have any respect anymore. About 15 years ago we used Bermuda sprigs from Red Hawk Golf Course to make the field a nice place with durable grass for the kids to play.
