Exclusive: Disney Channel Completes Casting for Descendants

Disney Channel's upcoming TV movie Descendants, which focuses on the kids of Disney's most infamous villains, has filled the role of Cruella de Vil's son.

Jessie star Cameron Boyce will play Carlos, the son of the 101 Dalmatians baddie. His hiring rounds out the cast, which also includes Dove Cameron ( Liv and Maddie ) as Mal, the daughter of Maleficent; Booboo Stewart (The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn) as Jay, the son of Jafar; newcomer Sofia Carson as Evvie, the daughter of the Evil Queen; and newcomer Mitchell Hope as Ben, the son of Belle and the Beast.

Disney Channel Turns to Villains for Its Next Original Movie Descendants

The movie, directed by Kenny Ortega (High School Musical), follows these modern-day teens as they begin to question the evil in their hearts. Descendants is expected to air in 2015.

Boyce's credits also include Grown Ups and Grown Ups 2.
