Prep Golf: Eagles' Win Streak Snapped

The Eldorado High School girls' golf 11-match win streak was snapped Tuesday by Massac County at Saline County Country Club.

The Patriots edged Eldorado 163-166 after the Eagles came off a week last week where they had three straight matches and this week where they will have three straight matches.

The loss comes with a silver lining for Eldorado as they got a season-low score from both Taylor Aldridge and Sydney Tate.

Taylor Goodley fired a 36, while Ashton Goodley carded a 40 for EHS.

Aldridge finished with a 44, while Sydney Tate closed out the scoring with a 46.

Paige Ellerbusch grabbed medalist honors for the Patriots, firing a 1-under 35.
