OBITUARY: Norma L. Avery

Norman L. Avery, age 62 of Harrisburg, passed away at 10:26 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2014, at his residence.

Norman was born on Aug. 8, 1952, in Harrisburg to Janice L. Avery and was raised by Wayne Coseboon. In 1991 he married Paula Littrell and she preceded him in death February of 2012. Norman was a disabled veteran and was a member of the American Legion.

Norman is survived by his son: Nick Avery; step-son: Nick Rider; brother: Leslie (Kathy) Coseboon; brother: Roger Stuby; sister: Debbie (Tom) Halter; granddaughter: Bailey Rider; Mary and Doug Centwell, Cheri Coseboon; cousin: Randy Coseboon; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and Carl Coseboon.

Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 25, 2014, at Reed Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Harold Miller will officiate. Cremation will follow. There will be no visitation. The family asks, in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to the Bailey Rider College Fund. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
