Du Quoin girl is candidate for Miss Illinois Teen title

KyLee Sizemore from Du Quoin, daughter of Marty & Stacey Sizemore has been selected to participate in the 2015 Miss Illinois Teen USA Pageant. The pageant will take place Aug. 29 - Sept. 1 in Skokie, Ill. She will be attending as Miss Teen Perry County and will compete in swimsuit, evening gown, and personal interview categories.

The pageant has two age divisions, and the winners will go on to represent our state in the 2015 Miss USA and Miss Teen USA Pageant. The Miss USA pageant system stresses good morals, physical fitness, communication skills, social awareness and community involvement.

She will be a sophomore at Du Quoin High School this year. KyLee is currently a DHS Indianette and is a dance instructor for Upbeat Dance Studio in Du Quoin Illinois where she has been dancing since she was the age of 4. She is very excited to have this opportunity to compete in this pageant with many girls from ages 14-18.

She is being sponsored by Upbeat Dance Studio in Du Quoin Ill., Fenton's Custom and Collision in Elkville, Ill., Harris and Jones Law Firm in Du Quoin, Ill., Melise's Formal Wear & Accessories in Marion and her family and friends.
