OBITUARY: Pauline Ann Cox
Our family's angel on earth, Pauline Ann (Barger) Cox met her heavenly father on Jan. 25, 2013, at her daughter's home in Springfield, Mo.
Pauline's church and family were her life. She deeply loved her husband, Herbert "Jack" Cox (deceased); son, Randal Wayne 'Randy" Cox (deceased) and daughter, Linda Sue (Cox) Zachar. She lived for her grandchildren Randy, Chris, and Jeremy Cox; Tracy (Zachar) Gossard and Kristy (Zachar) Nerness. There are a host of great-grandchildren, extended family and friends she loved unconditionally.
Pauline became a believer in Jesus at an early age and had a huge heart to help and serve people. She was a giver and loved to be a mentor to those who reached out to her. Her passion was that God use her to enrich and bless others and make everyone she touched feel special.
The end of Pauline's life and personal struggles do not define her. She was a beautiful person and the legacy she leaves is love, grace and inner beauty. Her spirit lives forever and we will see her again. Pauline's words to us might be never be afraid to dream our dreams but remember to go the distance to make them realities. If by God's will I cannot be here for you, remember that love never dies and I will be with you in spirit. I will be your 'special angel' who guides you and I will love you forever.
Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Oct. 8 at Lavendar Cemetary in Herod.
