OBITUARY: Charles L. Robertson

Charles L. Robertson, 68, resident of Eldorado passed away Monday, Sept. 23, 2013, at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.

He was born Feb. 17, 1945, in Townley, Ala., to the late Bartley and Lucille (Alich) Robertson. He married the former Pricilla Sobotta who survives. He was Baptist by faith, and was a member of the Eldorado VFW and the Eldorado American Legion. Charles served in the US Army during the Vietnam War.

In addition to his wife he is survived by a son, Joseph Robertson of Eldorado; two daughters, Stacy Robertson and Gina Robertson both of Waukegan; a sister, Faye (Lendon) Ernest of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; and two grandchildren, Nicholas and Dylan. Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday evening at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado. Following the visitation, cremation will be accorded.
