Melanie Griffith to Play Danny's Mom on Hawaii Five-0

Danno, meet your mother!

Melanie Griffith has been tapped to play the mother of Danny Williams (Scott Caan) on Hawaii Five-0 , the show's Twitter account announced on Tuesday.

Details on the Working Girl star's appearance were not immediately available. However, Danny's mom could easily fit into another family reunion when Carol Burnett pops up as McGarrett's aunt, who comes to Oahu with a secret plan to reunite the entire clan for Thanksgiving.

Griffith most recently guest-starred on Raising Hope last season as Sabrina's mom.

Hawaii Five-0 returns Friday, Sept. 27 at 9/8c on CBS.
