Brennan L. Palmer

HARRISBURG - Brennan L. Palmer, 36, died at 6:56 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2016, in Harrisburg Medical Center.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, in Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills. Burial will be in Springvalley Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with Masonic rites at 12:45 p.m. by Raleigh Masonic Lodge 128 and Carrier Mills Blazing Star Lodge 458.

Memorials may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.

He was born Dec. 14, 1979, in Paducah to Darrell L. and Cindy J. (Fort) Palmer.

Brennan was a member of Raleigh Masonic Lodge 128 and Carrier Mills Blazing Star Lodge 458.

He was a coal miner and a registered referee and umpire with the Illinois High School Association. Officiating was one of his greatest joys, as well as trapping and his metal detector.

Survivors include his father and stepmother, Darrell and Lisa Palmer of Harrisburg; four children, Darian Palmer of Texas, Braxton Palmer of Harrisburg, Lincoln Palmer of Marion and Hayley Palmer of Mississippi; sister, Courtney (Jonathon) Hale of Harrisburg; two brothers, Jacob (Trista) Palmer of Harrisburg and Alex (Heather) Palmer of Harrisburg; two stepsisters, April (Ray) Johnson of Arizona and Amy (Justin) Reeg of Harrisburg; stepbrother, Kenny Mayhall of Harrisburg; extended family, Tyler, Curtis, Hannah, Bobby and Gina; several aunts and uncles, including Todd Fort of Harrisburg; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Cindy Palmer.
