Shirley A. Kanady

Shirley A. Kanady, 70, of Rt. 1, Cave In Rock, IL died Saturday, September 10 2016 at 7:11 a.m. at Harrisburg Medical Center. Private graveside services were held Monday, September 12, 2016. Burial was at Mt. Zion Cemetery near Cave In Rock, IL. Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL assisted the family.

She was born on May 6, 1946 in New Orleans, LA to the late Ray and Ann (Spivey) Burklow.

She married Charles Kanady and he survives. Other survivors include four children: Karrie Jones of Harrisburg, IL; Mike Kanady of McLeansboro, IL; Sheryl Beavers of Enfield, IL; and Melissa Petro of Chester, CT; Sister: Edna Ruble of Alton, IL; and four grandchildren: Christa Petro of Chester, CT; Caleb Jones of Harrisburg, IL; Ragan Petro of Chester, CT and Kaitlyn Jones of Harrisburg, IL.
