Oreon L. Bird, age 66, a resident of Dahlgren, Illinois passed away at

6:40 P M Sunday September 4 2016 at his home. He was a U S Army Veteran of the Desert Storm Conflict .He is survived by a son Eric Bird of Mt Vernon, Illinois ;a daughter Lesa Bird of Dix, Illinois; 4 Brothers Steve Bird of San Antonio Texas, Lee Bird of Mt Vernon, Illinois, Ross Bird of Woodlawn, Illinois Troy Bird of Washington;2 Sisters Twyla Bird and

Darla Stewart along with 2 grandchildren. Also his companion and friend Shirley Gunter of Dahlgren, Illinois. There will no formal service

for Oreon L. Bird. The Gholson Funeral Home of Dahlgren is assisting the family with arrangements.
