Terry Freeman
David Terrence Freeman, known as Terry to childhood friends, 74, of Clermont Florida and formerly of Evansville and Newburgh, IN, passed away in Orlando peacefully on Monday, April 4, 2016 of congestive heart failure.
David was born on May 4, 1941 in St. Mary's Hospital in Evansville, Indiana, the son of the late David S. Freeman and Mary D. (Angermeier) Freeman. David married Geneva L. (Scates) Freeman on July 7, 1964 in St. Mary's Church in Shawneetown, Illinois. David graduated from Holy Rosary Grade School in 1955 and Reitz Memorial High School in 1959, both in Evansville, IN and went on to have a career with Naitonal Chemsearch, where he was a Regional Salesman for over 20 years. David was a Devout Roman Catholic, he was especially devoted to the Blessed Virgin Mary and the Holy Rosary. He was a former member of St. John's Catholic Church in Newburgh, IN for 30 years, he was very active in National Right to Life as a founding member of the Evansville Speaker's Bureau, member of Turner's in Evansville until its closing, and Chairman of the 1970 Newburgh Oktoberfest Parade that raised funds to build the Newburgh Public Pool. He loved good food, bizarre food, swimming and was a voracious reader, preferring the Bible, books about religion and nutrition.

Hannah) Crawley (spouse Michael) of Clermont; sons Patrick David Freeman (spouse Kari (DeSormier))of Winter Garden, Damian Terrence Freeman of Tampa, and Marcus Daniel Freeman of Lake Mary; grandchildren Cecilia, Vadvada, Elijah, Matthew, Sebastian, Philomena, Jessica, Bernadette, Jacob, Luke, Isabelle, Isaac, and Adelaide Freeman and Benjaman Crawley; brothers Jim Freeman of Milpitas, CA, Greg Freeman (spouse Mary Ruth (Muehlbauer)) of Darmstadt, IN, Mike Freeman (spouse Elaine (Harp)) of Evansville, IN and John Freeman (spouse Connie (Brauns)) of Evansville, IN; godchildren Mary Jo (Freeman) Keen of Darmstadt, IN, John Scates of Henshaw, KY, Ann Hargraves of Indianapolis, IN, and Carol Wain Freeman of Oregon. Predeceased by parents: Mary D. "Babe" (Angermeier) Freeman and D. Sam Freeman and by granddaughters, Innocentia and Angelica Freeman
The family invites relative and friends to a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Resurrection Church, 1211 Winter Garden Vineland Road, Winter Garden, 34787 with burial immediately following at Oak Hill Cemetery at the intersection of Drew Avenue and Desoto Street in Clermont, 34711.
