Patricia Ann Johnson, 74, Norris City

Patricia Ann Johnson, age 74 of Norris City, passed away at 12:45 PM, Thursday, January 21, 2016 at her residence in Norris City.

Patricia was born on January 20, 1942 in Harrisburg, Illinois to the late Jerry and Mable (Gibbs) Polance. She married John Stanley "Bat" Johnson on December 12, 1986 and he preceded her in death on February 12, 2009. Patricia was baptized as a youth at Dorrisville Social Brethren Church in Harrisburg. She had formerly worked as a waitress, helped manage the Bell Restaurant in Lebanon, Missouri; and most recently had worked for the Norris City Banner until her retirement in 1986.

Patricia is survived by a son, Curtis Wilson and wife Kim of Montezuma, Indiana; daughter, Teri Wilcox of St. Peters, Missouri; three grandchildren, Christine Lewis of St. Louis, Missouri, Gregory Lewis of St. Peters, Missouri, and Curtis J. Wilson of Pimento, Indiana; three sisters, Mary Logsdon of San Diego, California; Kaye Wiley and husband John R. of Fenton, Michigan; and Linda Holman and husband Bob of Norris City, Illinois and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband John, and her parents, Jerry and Mable Polance, Patricia was preceded in death by three brothers, Albert Polance, Jerry Polance, and Robert Polance; and three sisters, Joan Lane, Emma McDermott and Dixie Carnes.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 PM, Sunday, January 24, 2016 at Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg. Pastor Chad Everett will officiate and burial will follow in Sunset Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12 PM to 2:30 PM, Sunday, January 24, 2016 at Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg.
