GIRLS BASKETBALL: Lady Falcons cruise past Egyptian

Allie Whittington scored 19 points to lead Elverado to a 52-22 home win over Egyptian on Thursday night, a game the Lady Falcons controlled from start to finish.

Elverado jumped out to a 16-6 lead after the opening quarter and 28-11 at the half. The Lady Pharaohs didn't score more than 7 points in any period.

Hannah Alstat joined Allie Whittington in double figures with 10 points for EHS. Kennedy Kimmel added 7 points, Tori Ehlers had 5, Emma Bigham and Brianna Tuthill each scored 4, Cheradon Lively 2 and Kadie Dunmyer 1.

The Lady Falcons have won two straight games, improving to 6-12 on the season. They'll travel to Marissa-Coulterville on Wednesday of next week for their next matchup.
