Maurita G. McConnell, 64, Harrisburg

Maurita G. McConnell, age 64, of Harrisburg, passed away at 1:43 AM, Friday, December 18, 2015 at the Marion Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Marion, IL.

Maurita was born on June 14, 1951 to the late Everett McConnell and Venia (Geary) McConnell. Maurita was formerly a CNA at Finnie Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Galatia.

Surviving family members include her daughter: Jamie Beaver and husband William of Marion. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a son, Dan McConnell.

Graveside services will be held at 1 PM, Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at Somers Cemetery in Thompsonville. Burial will follow in Somers Cemetery.
