Mack R. Phillips 61 of Galatia formally of Evansville Indiana passed away Sunday November 22, 2015 at 10:07 A.M. at the Harrisburg Medical Center. He was born on June 14, 1954 in Evansville, IN to James W. & Rosemary (Gates) Phillips. He married Virginia Carol (Richardson) Phillips on August 23, 2011 in Harrisburg. He was a construction worker for TVA of Kentucky and he was also a Army Veteran. Mack is survived by his wife Carol 4 children Toby (Sonja) Phillips, Matthew (Emily) Phillips, Samantha Phillips & Jesse Phillips, stepchildren Cathianne (Danny) Tucker, Heather (George) Wood, Sabrina (Aaron) Rupe & Joseph & Hunter Francis, 3 brothers James, Sam & Mark Phillips, 19 grandchildren 1 great and a best friend Will (Mary) Richardson. He was preceded by his parents 2 brothers Donnie & Keith. Funeral services will be Friday November 27, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at the Sloan Funeral Home in Galatia with visitation friday morning from 9:00 A.M. till funeral hour.
