Jack D. Price, 80, Carrier Mills

Jack D. Price, age 80, resident of Carrier Mills passed away peacefully at 5:35 p.m. Saturday-November 14, 2015 at the Memorial Hospital of Carbondale with his loving family at his side.ee.

He married the former Doris Purl on May 7, 1955 and she survives.

Jack retired as a heavy equipment operator for Operating Engineers Local # 318 and was baptist by faith.

He is survived by his wife; Doris and daughters; Debbie McCabe and Lea Ann Price all of Carrier Mills, grandchildren; Katie (James) Cooper of Magnolia, TX, Stephanie Emery of Lincoln, IL and Jackie (Josh) Westfall of Carrier Mills, IL. great-grandchildren; McKenzie, Braxton, Maddie Jo, Bailey Grace, and Allie Shay.

Brothers; Ronnie Price of Louisiana, Gary (Sandy) Price of Carrier Mills, IL and sisters;

Mary Lou (Hal) Whitlock of Raleigh, IL and Sue Harner of Chattanooga, TN

Private graveside services preceded burial Tuesday-November 17, 2015 in the Salem Cemetery in Carrier Mills with the Rev. Jimmie Dale Lambert officiating.
