Father, daughter arrested on drug charges

<span>A combined effort by the Randolph County Sheriff's Office and Percy Police Department has led to the arrest of two Percy residents on drug charges.</span>

<span>On Sept. 23, a search warrant was executed at 707 E. Goalby St. in Percy and resulted in the arrest of 62-year-old Ronald G. Williams and his 21-year-old daughter, Kendra A.M. Williams.</span>

<span>Ronald Williams was charged with unlawful cultivation of cannabis sativa plants and the unlawful possession of 500 grams, but less than 2,000 grams, of cannabis. Kendra Williams was charged with the unlawful possession of a controlled substance (heroin).</span>

<span>In a news release, the sheriff's office reported that police recovered evidence at the scene to support the charged crimes.</span>
