Prep Volleyball: Eagles fall in three sets at Gallatin Co.

The Eldorado volleyball team fell in three sets at Gallatin County, winning the first 25-16 and then losing 25-13 and 25-22.

Rachel Durham was 24-for-26 on sets with four spikes, nine-for-nine on serves with 10 points and 17 digs for Eldorado, while Brooklynn Peavler finished 5-for-5 on sets with 11 spikes and one kill, while going 11-for-12 on serves with 12 points and 19 digs.

Lexi Clore was 4-for-4 on sets and 4-for-5 on spikes, while going 9-for-10 on serves with 10 points, four aces and 28 digs.

Jordan Bailey was 6-for-6 on sets with 3 spikes and 8-for-8 at the line with six points, one ace and 14 digs.

Abby Steed, who was recently named to the Massac County All-Tournament team, her third honor this season was 13-for-13 on sets and was 44-for-47 on spikes with 13 kills. Steed finished 10-for-10 on serves with 11 points, one ace, two blocks and 19 digs.

Madison Newton was 12-for-13 on sets with five spikes, while going 5-for-5 on serving with five points and five digs.

Whitney McGuire was 7-for-7 on sets and 3-for-4 on spikes. McGuire finished 3-for-4 on serves with four points and four digs.

Kaitlyn Etienne had 16 digs, while Karli Etienne had four digs. April Summers had three digs, two points and two spikes.
