Du Quoin police drug take-back is Saturday

The Du Quoin Police Department will be participating in the national Drug Take Back event on Saturday, Sept. 26 2015 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Collection site will be at the Du Quoin Police Department lobby. The department urges people with old expired medications to bring them to the police department for proper disposal (no names or questions asked). The DEA will not allow the department to accept any syringes & needles, inhalers or large amounts of liquids. Small liquid bottles (such as cough syrup) can be accepted as long as the caps are sealed with tape.

The Perry County Sheriff's Department and Pinckneyville Police Department will be participating, as well.
