Minor injuries in County Line Road crash
<span>A Mascoutah man suffered minor injuries in an Aug. 5 traffic accident on County Line Road near Doza Creek Road.</span>
<span>According to the Randolph County Sheriff's Office, 17-year-old Michael A. Martin was traveling westbound along County Line Road when he apparently lost control of the 2010 Mazda 3 he was driving on a hillcrest and began skidding.</span>
<span>The vehicle continued skidding approximately 150 feet until it left the roadway and struck a tree, rolling over one and a half times before coming to a rest on its top in a ditch.</span>
<span id="docs-internal-guid-5f4e96cb-09a3-045b-c521-df85b89f61ff"><span>Randolph County Sheriff Shannon Wolff said Martin received minor injuries in the accident and was transported from the scene via MedStar Ambulance.</span></span>
<span><span>The accident occurred at 3:09 p.m. No citations have yet been issued and Wolff said the accident remains under investigation.</span></span>
