Chester resident arrested on drug-related charges
<span>In a Wednesday news release, Chester Police Chief Ryan Coffey announced members of his department, in a mutual investigation with the Randolph County Sheriff's Office, have arrested 29-year-old Joshua A. Ward, of Chester, on drug-related charges after the execution of a search warrant at his home at 1508 State Street on Tuesday night.</span>
<span>Ward has been charged with unlawful possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a hypodermic syringe, and unlawful possession of cannabis. </span>
<span>The release stated police seized evidence to support the charges. The Steeleville Police Department provided additional assistance.</span>
<span>As of Wednesday afternoon, Ward was still incarcerated at Randolph County Jail. His bond has not yet been set.</span>
