First Look: Phineas and Ferb's Dr. Doofenshmirtz Pitches ABC's Shark Tank
The Sharks have never met an inventor like this. Phineas and Ferb 's bumbling villain Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz will appear next month on the season finale of ABC's Shark Tank , offering the show's tycoons a chance to invest in his latest evil invention.
Fans of the animated Disney Channel hit Phineas and Ferb know, of course, that Dr. Doofenshmirtz's nefarious "inator" creations, generally inspired by his desire to control the greater "tri-state area," usually wind up self-destructing.
The Shark Tank episode airs Friday, May 17 at 9/8c; a three-minute video of the appearance will be uploaded on YouTube, abc.com and disney.com the same day. This is the latest collaboration between ABC and its younger Disney Channel cousin; earlier this season, Disney Channel aired episodes of ABC's new sitcom The Neighbors, while ABC has aired repeats of Phineas and Ferb Christmas Vacation and the TV-movie Phineas and Ferb: Across the Second Dimension .
