Congratulations are in order for Denise Richards: Her dad is engaged!

On Monday night's Chelsea Lately , Richards casually revealed that her father Irv had popped the question to a mystery woman.

"He did one of those dating sites," she said. "He's getting married. I think he could have maybe waited a little longer, but whatever."

Earlier this year, Irv and Denise appeared on Bravo's Millionaire Matchmaker . Although the match didn't prove ultimately successful, Patti Stanger tweeted her well wishes. "Congrats @DENISE_RICHARDS on dad irvs engagement," she said. "I couldn't be happier for him, his fiancée got a great catch. Xo"

Irv Richards was previously married to Denise's mother Joni, who died from cancer nearly six years ago.
