Show times are 2 p.m. Saturday, 2 p.m. Sunday and 7 p.m. Monday at the Eldorado Elementary School gym.

The town's children are wanting to raise money to rebuild their park that was damaged in a tornado. They decide there is a need to solicit a donation from eccentric scientist Dr. Von Drugen who is rumored to possess the ability to change children into cats. The children find themselves trapped in a spooky house having to confront their own fears and enemies with agendas opposed to park clean up.

Co-Director Linda Phelps said she excited Dr. Von Drugen is being played by Niklas Welsch, an exchange student from Germany with a perfect accent for his part.

"Things are going really well, especially with so many kids involved in school activities who have had to miss rehearsals, but they're doing a good job. A great job," Phelps said.

Phelps and John Russell are directing the play that was written by Shari Potter. The cast is made up of 19 kids between ages 8 and 17 from Saline and Gallatin counties.
